HR Officer

Are you an experienced HR professional who knows that great HR is about more than paperwork?

Can you confidently navigate employee relations, recruitment, payroll, labour legislation, training, compliance and Health & Safety while keeping the people and business sides working together?

We’re looking for an experienced HR Officer to join a dynamic manufacturing environment and take ownership of a broad HR portfolio. This is a hands-on role for someone who is knowledgeable, organised, approachable and confident dealing with employees and management at all levels.

If you’re the person people come to when they need an HR answer, a solution to a people challenge or guidance on compliance, this could be the role for you!

Requirements

• Related degree/qualification in Human Resources Management.
  
• 10+ years of HR experience in a similar role, preferably in a corporate or manufacturing environment.
  
• Strong knowledge of South African labour laws.
  
• Experience in integrated payroll system.
  
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  
• Applicants must reside in Pietermaritzburg.
