Microsoft Power Platform Developer — DHS/TSA (Remote)

This is a remote position.

CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Active DHS clearance (any level) OR an active Top Secret clearance from any agency. U.S. citizenship required. A Secret clearance alone or a Public Trust alone does not meet the bar for this role.

Velocity Talent is recruiting a Microsoft Power Platform Developer to support a DHS/TSA program delivered by FCG. The role is fully remote within the United States; the supported program office is in Springfield, VA.

What you will do

• Build model-driven Power Apps, including plugins, workflows, cloud flows, and SDK or API integrations.
  
• Customize Canvas Apps, including external data connections.
  
• Deliver automation with Power Automate and data models in Dataverse; build Power BI reporting.
  
• Administer SharePoint Online (sites, lists, libraries, permissions, page design) and integrate Power Platform with SharePoint and Microsoft 365.
  

Required

• Active DHS clearance at any level, or an active Top Secret clearance from any agency.
  
• U.S. citizenship.
  
• 3+ years of hands-on Microsoft Power Platform development: model-driven Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Power BI.
  
• Hands-on Canvas App customization including data connections.
  
• SharePoint Online site administration and Power Platform integration with SharePoint and Microsoft 365.
  
• Agile/Scrum delivery and Section 508 accessibility awareness.
  
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  

Preferred

• Microsoft Graph, REST APIs, and custom integrations.
  
• SharePoint Framework (SPFx), JavaScript, TypeScript.
  
• Business-analysis experience alongside development.
  
• Federal program support, governance, and compliance experience.
