Do you enjoy creating engaging learning experiences that help elementary students grow academically and personally? Are you passionate about making instruction accessible for students with different learning needs? Clarifi Staffing Solutions is seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher to join a Michigan school district for the 2026–2027 academic year.

This role focuses on supporting elementary students through individualized instruction, classroom accommodations, and meaningful learning strategies. You’ll work alongside general education teachers, related service professionals, and families to create an inclusive environment where students can participate, develop essential skills, and work toward their individual educational goals.

Your Role in the Classroom:

• Support positive classroom behavior and encourage student engagement.
  
• Develop, implement, and maintain Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  
• Participate in IEP meetings, team planning, and multidisciplinary discussions.
  
• Monitor student performance and use data to adjust instructional approaches.
  
• Maintain accurate student records and required special education documentation.
  
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and educational needs.
  
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and school staff.
  
• Provide individualized and small-group instruction based on student needs and IEP goals.
  
• Adapt lessons, assignments, assessments, and instructional materials to improve accessibility.
  

Requirements

Candidates should have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Special Education or a related field, along with strong communication, organization, instructional, and classroom management skills. Experience supporting elementary students in resource, inclusion, or self-contained settings is preferred. Applicants must hold a valid Michigan teaching certificate with the appropriate Special Education endorsement or meet Michigan certification eligibility requirements.
