Digital Implementation Consultant – Coupa / Ivalua

About the role

We are supporting a leading consulting organisation in Belgium that is looking to strengthen its Digital Procurement / Source-to-Pay team with a Digital Implementation Consultant.

This is an opportunity to work with leading organisations across Belgium and internationally, helping clients design, implement and optimise digital procurement solutions. You will be involved throughout the implementation lifecycle, from understanding business requirements and designing solutions through to configuration, testing, deployment and post-go-live support.

The role would suit someone with hands-on experience with Coupa or Ivalua, combined with a strong understanding of procurement processes and an interest in technology-enabled transformation.

Your responsibilities

As a Digital Implementation Consultant, you will:

• Work with clients to understand their procurement and Source-to-Pay requirements.
  
• Translate business and functional requirements into effective digital solutions.
  
• Support the implementation of Coupa, Ivalua or similar procurement platforms.
  
• Contribute to solution design, configuration and implementation activities.
  
• Map and analyse existing procurement processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
  
• Support clients in redesigning processes to maximise the value of their procurement technology.
  
• Prepare functional specifications, process documentation and implementation deliverables.
  
• Support system testing, user acceptance testing and defect resolution.
  
• Work closely with technical teams, client stakeholders and software vendors throughout implementation.
  
• Support data migration, integration and deployment activities where required.
  
• Assist with training, change management and user adoption.
  
• Provide post-go-live support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  
• Manage your own workstreams and take responsibility for delivering high-quality outputs.
  
• Contribute to the development of procurement technology propositions and internal methodologies.

Requirements

What we are looking for

We are looking for candidates with a combination of procurement process knowledge, technology implementation experience and strong client-facing skills.

Ideally, you will have:

• Experience working with Coupa or Ivalua, either as an implementation consultant, functional consultant, business analyst or similar.
  
• A good understanding of Source-to-Pay / Procure-to-Pay processes.
  
• Experience contributing to or delivering digital procurement implementations.
  
• Experience gathering and translating business requirements into functional solutions.
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  
• Experience working with stakeholders across procurement, finance, IT and other business functions.
  
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
  
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively within project teams.
  
• A genuine interest in procurement technology and digitalisation.
  

Experience with both Coupa and Ivalua would be advantageous, although strong experience with either platform will be considered.

Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics, as well as integrations and procurement data, would also be beneficial.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain, Procurement, Information Systems, Engineering or a related discipline is preferred.

Relevant professional experience and hands-on platform expertise will also be highly valued.
