Management Accountant

Job Description:

An international construction group with active projects in Jordan is looking for a Management Accountant to provide reliable financial reports, forecasts and analysis, and to prepare Group consolidation and statutory financial statements.

1. Prepare monthly management reporting packs by company, business activity and Group, with variance analysis against budget and prior periods
   
2. Coordinate annual budgets and periodic forecasts and maintain approved forecast versions
   
3. Prepare project profitability reviews covering cost to complete, margin movements and expected final profit
   
4. Prepare and update cash flow forecasts and analyze receivables, retention, payables and working capital
   
5. Prepare Group consolidation, including intercompany eliminations and consolidation adjustments
   
6. Prepare annual statutory and consolidated financial statements with notes and supporting schedules
   
7. Coordinate external audit schedules and incorporate approved audit adjustments
   
8. Support tax reporting with reconciled financial information
   
9. Standardize reporting definitions and recommend improvements to reporting and controls
   

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
   
2. Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA or CA
   
3. 5+ years of experience in management accounting and financial reporting, preferably in construction or contracting
   
4. Proven experience in Group consolidation and preparing financial statements under IFRS
   
5. Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting and project profitability analysis
   
6. Advanced Microsoft Excel and ERP skills; Power BI is an advantage
   
7. Strong analytical and presentation skills for communicating results to management
