Part-Time Evening Cleaner – St Albans

Pay Rate: £13.65 per hour
Hours: 6.25 hours per week
Days: Monday to Friday
Shift: 5:30pm – 6:45pm

We are currently recruiting for a reliable Part-Time Evening Cleaner to work at a High Street Bank in St Albans.

This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering a regular 1 hour 15 minute evening shift, Monday to Friday, with no weekend working.

The position could be ideal for someone living or already working locally who is looking for additional regular part-time hours.

Working Hours

• Monday: 5:30pm – 6:45pm
  
• Tuesday: 5:30pm – 6:45pm
  
• Wednesday: 5:30pm – 6:45pm
  
• Thursday: 5:30pm – 6:45pm
  
• Friday: 5:30pm – 6:45pm
  
• Saturday & Sunday: No work
  
• Total: 6.25 hours per week
  

Pay

£13.65 per hour

The Role

You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the premises.

Duties will include:

• Cleaning customer-facing and staff areas
  
• Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors
  
• Cleaning toilets and washroom facilities
  
• Wiping and sanitising surfaces and touchpoints
  
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste
  
• Replenishing consumables where required
  
• General cleaning duties throughout the premises
  
• Ensuring the site is left clean, tidy and presentable

Requirements

Due to the position being based within a banking environment, successful applicants will be required to complete the necessary pre-employment screening, including:

• Basic DBS check
  
• Adverse financial check
  
• Right to Work verification
  
• Required employment history/information
  
• Previous cleaning experience preferred
  
• Reliable and punctual
  
• Able to commit to the full Monday-to-Friday shift pattern
  
• Comfortable with lone working
  
• Comfortable with potential key-holder responsibilities and using an alarm panel
  
• Able to use a telephone-based time and attendance system
  

Temp to Perm Opportunity

The position will initially be supplied through Concept Resources, with the opportunity to become a permanent member of the cleaning team following a successful temporary period.
