About the Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) for a part-time, school-based contract opportunity conducting physical therapy evaluations for 2–3 students at a charter school in Greenville, South Carolina.

This opportunity is ideal for a physical therapist looking to supplement their current workload with flexible, part-time work while maintaining control over their schedule. With a small initial caseload, competitive hourly compensation, and the potential for continued treatment services, this role offers an excellent opportunity to provide meaningful support to students without a full-time commitment.

The clinician may determine their availability in coordination with the school's needs. Additional opportunities to provide ongoing physical therapy services to students who qualify may be available by mutual agreement.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct physical therapy evaluations for 2–3 students in a school setting.
  
• Assess students' functional mobility, motor skills, physical abilities, and educational access needs.
  
• Prepare evaluation reports and document findings, clinical impressions, and recommendations.
  
• Collaborate with school staff and relevant team members to address student needs.
  
• Recommend appropriate physical therapy services, interventions, and supports.
  
• Potentially provide ongoing physical therapy treatment to students who qualify for services, based on mutual agreement and availability.
  

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist eligible to practice in South Carolina.
  
• Experience conducting physical therapy evaluations.
  
• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills.
  
• Ability to collaborate effectively with school personnel and other service providers.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous school-based physical therapy experience.
  
• Familiarity with educational evaluations and special education processes.
