We are hiring an Assistant Director of Nursing of our Nursing Home in Co Roscommon.

The ADON - Assistant Director of Nursing assumes responsibility for directing and coordinating the management of the nursing home, maintaining a high standard of residential care and activities. This is a Permanent/Full Time Position.

Working alongside the Director of Nursing (DON), the ADON supports and assists in managing all staff to uphold the standards set by the Nursing Home. Additionally, the role involves establishing and nurturing relationships with residents built on mutual respect and equality.

Responsibilities

• Assist the PIC in managing daily operations and staffing.
  

• Lead and supervise nursing staff, ensuring best practices are followed.
  

• Ensure compliance with HIQA standards and regulatory requirements.
  

• Maintain a safe environment and deliver high-quality care.
  

• Act as Person in Charge (PIC) in their absence.
  

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with active NMBI PIN
  

• Significant nursing and leadership experience
  

• Strong leadership, organisational, and clinical skills
  

• Passion for delivering outstanding care to older people
