Role Overview:

Orbit International Survey Services LLC (Orbit ISS) is seeking an experienced Dimensional Control / 3D Laser Scanning Surveyor with proven experience in 3D laser scanning, dimensional surveying, mechanical plants/equipment, and preparation of detailed technical reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform 3D laser scanning and high-precision dimensional surveys of piping spools & bellows and mechanical equipment.
  
• Conduct measurements at three stages:
  

• Before removal – As-Built condition
  
• After removal
  
• After installation
  

• Capture X, Y, Z coordinates, face-to-face dimensions, orientation, alignment, and tolerances.
  
• Provide accurate dimensional data for engineering, fabrication, and installation.
  
• Prepare detailed dimensional and technical reports with measurements, photographs, and findings.
  
• Identify and report dimensional deviations.
  
• Coordinate with Engineering, Fabrication, Installation, and Client teams.
  

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil/Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  
• 5+ years of experience in 3D laser scanning, dimensional control, or industrial surveying.
  
• Experience with piping, mechanical plants, equipment, or industrial installations.
  
• Proficient in high-precision equipment such as Leica Total Station, 3D Laser Scanner, or equivalent.
  
• Experience with point-cloud processing and dimensional control software.
  
• Ability to read engineering drawings, piping layouts, and isometrics.
  
• Strong technical reporting and documentation skills.
  
• Good English communication skills.
