Chicago Has the Hobby Talent. We're Trying to Steal One of You.

Between Windy City Sports Cards, Bridgeport Hobby, shops throughout Chicagoland and a constant card-show scene, Chicago has no shortage of people who understand this hobby.

We're looking for one who's ready for something bigger.

Mount Olympus Rips is a growing live sports card breaking operation in Plymouth, Minnesota, and we're hiring a breaker who can bring sports knowledge, hobby credibility and genuine personality to a live audience.

$50/hour + tips.

Full-time or part-time opportunities are available.

And yes, you would need to relocate to Minnesota.

This isn't a remote-hosting position.

The reason is simple: our operation revolves around physical cards. Product comes into Plymouth. Breaks are staged in Plymouth. You open the cards in our studio. Then those exact cards need to move from your table into sorting, fulfillment and shipping without breaking the chain.

You can't run that operation from a laptop in Chicago.

What we can offer is something many independent breakers don't have:

A team.

Instead of trying to be the buyer, inventory manager, breaker, customer-service rep, sorter and shipping department all at once, you can concentrate on the part you're great at.

Hosting.

Know your products.

Know your players.

Know what the room is chasing.

Understand why a Downtown gets a different reaction than a base rookie. Know when you've pulled something that needs immediate protection. Be able to discuss PSA versus SGC versus BGS without sounding like you memorized it yesterday.

Most importantly, make people want to stay in the room.

Chicago is only a short flight from Minneapolis.
