We are looking for an experienced and visionary Azure Cloud Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, a strategic mindset, and a passion for driving innovation in cloud infrastructure and services.

Key Responsibilities

Azure Cloud Architecture

• Design and implement enterprise Azure cloud architectures aligned with business requirements and governance standards.
• Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives from on-premises environments to Azure.
• Develop hybrid cloud solutions integrating on-premises datacenters with Azure services.
• Architect highly available and disaster-resilient cloud environments.
• Design Azure Landing Zones, subscription structures, and management groups.
• Manage Azure services such as Virtual Machines, VM Scaleset, AGW, LB, App Services, AKS, Docker, Storage, Networking, IAM, Azure Site Recovery.
• Develop and manage disaster recovery strategies and plans for mission-critical applications and infrastructure.
• Establish cloud governance, cost optimization, and resource management frameworks.
• Determine appropriate migration tools and methodologies (lift-and-shift, re-platform, refactor).
• Maintain accurate on-premise and cloud infrastructure, processes, runbooks, and policies.
• Integrate backup and DR architectures seamlessly with infrastructure, security, and application layers.
• Performance and capacity planning across hybrid environments.
• Define Azure networking strategies including:
  • Virtual Networks (VNet)
  • ExpressRoute
  • VPN Gateway
  • Azure Firewall
  • Application Gateway
  • Load Balancers
  • DNS Services
  • NAT Gateway

Linux Infrastructure Architecture

• Design and maintain enterprise Linux platforms including:
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
  • Rocky Linux
  • Ubuntu Linux
  • SUSE Linux Enterprise Server
• Establish OS hardening standards and security baselines.
• Design Linux clustering, high availability, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Manage kernel tuning, performance optimization, and capacity planning.
• Standardize patch management and lifecycle management processes.
• Architect centralized logging and monitoring platforms.

Cloud Security & Governance

• Implement Azure security best practices and Zero Trust architecture.
• Design identity and access management solutions using:
  • Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
  • RBAC
  • Privileged Identity Management (PIM)
  • Conditional Access Policies
• Implement cloud security controls and compliance frameworks.
• Conduct security reviews and architecture assessments.
• Design cloud-native backup and disaster recovery solutions.

Infrastructure Automation

• Lead Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) initiatives using:
  • Terraform
  • Azure Bicep
  • ARM Templates
• Develop automation solutions using:
  • PowerShell
  • Bash Shell Scripting
  • Python
  • Ansible
• Establish configuration management standards.

Monitoring & Operations

• Design enterprise monitoring and observability solutions.
• Implement monitoring using:
  • Azure Monitor
  • Log Analytics
  • Grafana
  • Nagios
• Establish capacity planning and performance management processes.
• Drive operational excellence through automation and standardization.

Storage, Backup & Disaster Recovery

• Design cloud and hybrid storage architectures.
• Architect backup and recovery solutions utilizing:
  • Azure Backup
  • Azure Site Recovery
  • Veeam Backup & Replication
  • Azure Blob Storage
  • S3-compatible storage platforms
• Develop Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity plans.
• Conduct regular DR testing and recovery validation.

Stakeholder Management

• Provide technical leadership and architectural governance.
• Lead technical workshops and design reviews.
• Mentor cloud and Linux engineers.
• Collaborate with application, security, and business stakeholders.
• Prepare architecture documentation, standards, and roadmaps.

• Experience leading cloud migration and modernization projects.
• Experience designing enterprise-scale hybrid cloud environments.
• Experience with high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
• Experience managing large-scale production environments.
