Filler General Labourer

Our client, a long-time local manufacturer, is looking for a General Labourer for a Filler position within their organization! Our client produces a variety of refinishing and repair products for automotive and industrial application.

This role will essentially be filling product into cans. You must be able to lift 50 lbs, read/write/understand English fluently, and be able to wear a respirator when required. As such, it is an ongoing requirement to clean-shaven.

Salary:
$23.00 per hour, temporary to permanent.

Hours of Work: (Night Shift)
Sunday, 6:00pm - 4:30am, Monday to Wednesday, 5:00pm - 3:30am, Thursday overtime if required.

Responsibilities

• Filling product into cans as required by the manufacturing order.
  
• Working with fellow team members on requirements and quality to ensure smooth operation.
  
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while handling materials and operating equipment to ensure a safe work environment.
  
• Routine cleaning and sanitization of equipment, as needed.
  
• General help with other tasks as needed.
  

Requirements

• Experience working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is a strong asset.
  
• Must be able to read, write, and understand English fluently.
  
• Able to wear a respirator when required (clean-shaven) as you will be working with chemicals.
  
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
  
• Ability to work night-shift, full-time, 40 hours per week.
  
• Demonstrable work ethic and reliability.
