Senior Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with 5+ years of experience to join a small, high-impact

engineering team building AI-powered voice agents that handle millions of calls monthly for Fortune 500

companies. You will work across four product teams, three focused on core product development and one

operating as forward-deployed engineers, shipping full-stack features that directly power an LLM-based

conversational AI platform.

What you will be doing

• Build and ship full-stack product features that support and enhance LLM-powered voice and chat products.
• Work across product teams to deliver capabilities that help win deals and scale the platform, including

forward-deployed engineering work.

• Integrate speech recognition, text-to-speech and conversational AI model improvements into production

systems.

• Optimize and debug production systems, balancing latency, cost and user experience at enterprise scale.
• Collaborate closely with product and ML teams in a fast-moving, startup environment where every engineer

owns multiple initiatives.

Key requirements

• Proficiency in Python or TypeScript. This is a hard requirement (one or the other).
• Hands-on experience working with LLMs (multi-turn agents, prompt engineering or tools like LangChain), not

just theoretical knowledge.

• Full-stack engineering experience shipping solutions at scale in a startup or high-growth environment.
• A startup mentality: a self-starter who thinks outside the box.
• Located in the United States or Canada, with valid work authorization.

Must have

• Experience working at a senior software engineering level.
• Experience with Python or TypeScript (React, Node.js).
• Location in the United States or Canada.
• Valid US or Canada work authorization (no new visa sponsorship).

Baseline

• 5–8 years of experience as a full-stack software engineer.
• Experience owning and shipping software solutions that scale to millions of users.
• Experience working with LLMs.

Nice to have

• Experience at companies specializing in conversational AI, such as Poly, Decagon, Sierra, Five9, Genesys,

Eleven Labs, Nice, Talkdesk or RingCentral.

• Experience with conversational AI, multi-turn agents or LangChain.
• Familiarity with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL), cloud environments (AWS, GCP or Azure) and

CI/CD pipelines.

Compensation and details

$130,000–$190,000 base, plus competitive equity

• Full-time; fully remote for candidates based in the United States or Canada
• Travel required for team and company offsites approximately every six weeks
