As a member of the Customer Support Team, your key responsibilities will be:
- Act as a primary point of contact for customers, handling enquiries, service updates and breakdown notifications.
- Monitor fault notifications and coordinate the appropriate technical support to resolve customer issues.
- Work closely with clinical teams, internal service engineering teams and external service providers to support timely responses and resolutions.
- Manage escalations in collaboration with service management, maintaining consistent and reassuring communication with customers throughout.
- Plan and coordinate preventative maintenance visits in line with OEM requirements and contractual obligations.
- Maintain accurate service records and updates within the relevant service management systems.
- Coordinate annual radiation protection checks with the assigned Radiation Protection Advisor.
- Log and escalate customer feedback, safety-related incidents and service risks in accordance with company procedures.
- Support service contract administration, performance reporting and customer onboarding.
- Contribute to root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen customer experience and operational efficiency.
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- A strong customer service mindset and the confidence to build relationships in a healthcare or technical environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to provide clear updates and manage expectations during critical situations.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple service cases and priorities at the same time.
- A structured, practical approach to problem-solving, escalation and resolution management.
- High attention to detail when maintaining documentation, service records and compliance information.
- Confidence using service management systems and operational reporting tools.
- A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively with technical, clinical, logistics and commercial colleagues.
- Resilience, professionalism and sound judgement when handling urgent or high-pressure situations.
