Our client is recruiting an experienced Groups & Incentives Travel Specialist to join a leading luxury African travel company.

We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented travel professional with strong group travel experience and a passion for delivering outstanding itineraries across Africa.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and create innovative leisure group and incentive travel itineraries.
  

• Manage group reservations from initial enquiry and quotation through to final booking.
  

• Understand client requirements and work within allocated budgets.
  

• Coordinate with agents, guests, suppliers and internal teams.
  

• Prepare quotations, invoices and travel documentation.
  

• Proactively recommend and sell travel products and experiences.
  

• Ensure exceptional service delivery throughout the booking process.

Requirements

• At least 5 years' experience specialising in group travel (incentives experience is advantageous).
  

• Strong knowledge of Tourplan or a similar booking system.
  

• Excellent geographical and product knowledge of South Africa, Botswana, Tanzania and Kenya.
  

• Experience with additional African destinations will be advantageous.
  

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  

• Excellent negotiation, organisational and time-management skills.
  

• Advanced computer literacy, particularly MS Word and Excel.
  

• Ability to work under pressure with exceptional attention to detail.
