JOB SUMMARYService guests, escort guests to table when appropriate and offer to deliver food orders to guest tables according to hotel specification, courteously and efficiently. Also assist in the maintenance, cleanliness of the restaurant area and equipment.PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONSMaintain complete knowledge of table/seat/station numbers, room capacity, hours of operation, proper table set-up and dress code of restaurantMaintain complete knowledge of all liquor brands, beers and non-alcoholic selections available in the restaurant and respective glassware and garnishesMaintain knowledge of the particular characteristics and description of every wine/champagne by the glass and major wines on the wine listMaintain complete knowledge of all menu selections, preparation method, major ingredients, quality standards, appearance and serving temperatureStrictly abide state liquor regulations, particularly those prohibiting service to minors, intoxicated persons and drunk drivingMaintain complete knowledge of Micros and manual systemsComplete opening duties as assignedEnsure correct silverware is placed for each course in a timely mannerDirect guest to restrooms as outlined with BVLGARI standardsCheck and replenish beveragesRetrieve food orders from kitchen and serve to guestsOpen and serve wine / champagne bottlesPrepare and serve coffee drinks and teaBe familiar with all hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accuratelyHandle guest complaints following the instant pacification procedures and ensuring guest satisfactionComplete all closing reports as assigned and leave duty after reporting to Manager/Supervisor
