CCI Health Technologies is growing, and we're looking for a Service Technician / Low-Voltage Technician to join our field service team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technician with experience in low-voltage systems, access control, security electronics, structured cabling, electrical troubleshooting, or field service who wants to build a long-term career working with healthcare and hospital technology.

Our technicians work directly in hospitals, clinics, and healthcare facilities, helping ensure critical communication, security, alert, and low-voltage systems operate safely and reliably.

If you enjoy troubleshooting, working with your hands, solving technical problems, and learning new technology, this position offers hands-on experience, specialized training, overtime opportunities, and room to grow.

What You'll Do

As a Service Technician, you will install, service, troubleshoot, configure, and maintain a variety of healthcare and low-voltage systems.

Responsibilities include:

  • Install, service, configure, and troubleshoot healthcare and hospital equipment
  • Work with access control systems including:
  • Badge readers
  • Maglocks
  • Electric strikes
  • Door controllers
  • Power supplies
  • Relays
  • REX devices and door contacts
  • Troubleshoot and support security and CCTV systems
  • Work with nurse call and patient monitoring systems
  • Support communication, alert, and emergency response systems
  • Perform cable pulls, terminations, testing, labeling, and equipment mounting
  • Troubleshoot 12V/24V low-voltage circuits, panels, sensors, and controllers
  • Assist with access control hardware and software configuration
  • Diagnose field issues and determine appropriate repairs
  • Read wiring diagrams, schematics, riser diagrams, blueprints, and system layouts
  • Complete service tickets, maintenance documentation, and service reports
  • Work safely and professionally in hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare environments
  • Communicate effectively with customers, hospital staff, project teams, and management

Access Control & Technology Experience

Experience with any of the following platforms is a plus:

Mercury | HID | Brivo | S2 | Lenel | Avigilon | Openpath

Experience with other access control or security platforms is also valuable.

What We're Looking For

We're interested in candidates with experience as a:

  • Low-Voltage Technician
  • Field Service Technician
  • Access Control Technician
  • Security Installer
  • Electrical Helper
  • Service Technician
  • Structured Cabling Technician

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 1+ year of electrical systems experience required
  • 1+ year of electrical schematics experience required
  • Low-voltage experience preferred
  • Access control, security, or structured cabling experience strongly preferred
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and schematics
  • Experience with CAT5/CAT6 cabling
  • Coax experience is a plus
  • Fiber experience is a plus
  • Panel wiring and power supply experience
  • Knowledge of relays and low-voltage door hardware
  • Experience with EMT/conduit and cable management is a plus
  • Experience with system configuration, commissioning, or device programming is highly valued
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Professional attitude and strong attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn advanced medical equipment and proprietary healthcare technology

$25.00–$35.00 Per Hour Based on Experience
