Part Time Client Manager

TPF Recruitment, Kent's leading accoutnnacy practice recruitment agency is recruiting for a Part Time Client Manager to join a fantastic accountancy practice based in Maidstone.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced practice accountant looking for a varied accounts and tax role over three or four days per week. You’ll manage client relationships, take responsibility for a portfolio and work closely with senior colleagues to deliver an excellent service.

As a Part Time Client Manager, you’ll combine accounts and tax work with regular client contact, supporting business owners with their compliance requirements and responding to queries throughout the year.

Responsibilities

As a Part Time Client Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a portfolio of clients and acting as their main point of contact.
  
• Preparing and reviewing year end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
  
• Preparing and reviewing corporation tax computations and returns.
  
• Overseeing personal tax returns and associated compliance work.
  
• Supporting clients with accounts, tax and general business queries.
  
• Coordinating deadlines to ensure work is completed accurately and on time.
  
• Reviewing work prepared by colleagues and providing guidance where needed.
  
• Working closely with the senior team to maintain a high standard of client service.
  

Requirements

To be considered for this Part Time Client Manager opportunity, you’ll have:

• A strong background in accounts and tax within an accountancy practice.
  
• Experience managing client relationships and taking ownership of assignments.
  
• Good technical knowledge of accounts preparation, corporation tax and personal tax.
  
• Confidence preparing and reviewing work.
  
• Strong communication skills and a practical approach to resolving client queries.
  
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
  
• Confidence using accountancy software.
  
• Availability to work three or four days per week.
  
• This Part Time Client Manager role could suit an existing Manager looking for reduced hours or an experienced Senior ready to take on greater client responsibility.
  

Benefits

• £50,000 to £60,000 full time equivalent, depending on experience.
  
• Salary paid pro rata to reflect agreed working hours.
  
• Part time position working three or four days per week.
