Full-Time School-Based Occupational Therapist | Washington

Join our organization as a full-time Occupational Therapist serving students in a Washington school district. In this role, you’ll help students overcome functional challenges, build independence, and develop skills that support their academic and everyday success.

What You’ll Do:

You’ll provide in-person occupational therapy services to students and work closely with teachers, school personnel, and related service providers to support individual student needs. Services may address fine motor development, sensory regulation, self-care, classroom routines, functional skills, and participation in daily school activities.

Beyond direct therapy, you’ll contribute to a collaborative school environment by sharing your professional expertise, supporting student goals, and helping create strategies that allow students to engage more confidently in their educational experience.

Requirements

1. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
   
2. Commitment to supporting students with diverse needs.
   
3. Previous school-based OT experience is preferred, but not required.
   
4. Bachelor’s degree or higher from an AOTA-approved Occupational Therapy program.
   
5. Active Washington Occupational Therapist license or eligibility for Washington licensure.
