REQUIRED PROCEDURES

• Outpatient clinic patient evaluation for cardiac surgical patients
  
• Surgical, pre-op, post-op, and critical care management of cardiac surgical patients
  
• Daytime rounding, decision making for continuity of care, and discharges
  
• Accepting and management of transfers, cath lab backup
  
• Management of cardiac surgery ICU patients including ECMO and mechanical circulatory support
  

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: BC in Cardiothoracic Surgery
  
• Licenses: CT License or IMLC
  
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS
  
• Other Qualifications: EPIC Experience (preferred); Must be able to cover both sites (35-mile distance)
  

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform outpatient clinic patient evaluations for cardiac surgical patients.
  
• Provide surgical, pre-operative, post-operative, and critical care management for cardiac surgical patients.
  
• Manage daytime rounding, discharge planning, and continuity of care.
  
• Accept and manage patient transfers and provide cath lab backup.
  
• Manage cardiac surgery ICU patients, including those on ECMO and mechanical circulatory support.
