Job Description

The Design Engineer will support our government customers' global enterprise networks. Network Architecture provides solutions for modernizing the network components while supporting service delivery for customer requirements in a mission-focused operational enterprise. Additionally, the candidate must have experience with hands-on router engineering and/or operation.

• Responsibility for the Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) Wide Area Network (WAN) overall architecture
  

• Developing MPLS WAN services solution
  

• Performing lab equipment evaluation, integration, and testing
  

• Assisting with the security accreditation process
  

• Developing and maintaining relevant technical documentation
  

• On an as-needed basis, supporting Tier-4 production troubleshooting and developing proactive network analysis solutions for the operations team
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required
  

• Experience & Education: Candidate must have 16 years of experience that can be a combination of work history and education (Doctorate + 8 years, Bachelor's + 12 years, Associate's + 14 years, or High School Diploma + 16 years)
  

• Certifications: Compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) 8140 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 2 required
  

• Technical Experience: Hands-on router engineering and/or operation experience
  

Additional Details & Compensation

• Salary Range: $128,000 – $145,000 (A good-faith estimate reflecting various experience levels, skills, geographic location, and contractual requirements)
