No experience? No problem! As a Chair Exercise Volunteer, you’ll bring fun, gentle energy to help residents move and groove while staying seated comfortably. Whether you love dancing, yoga, Pilates, fitness, or just want to share some happy vibes, you’ll help older residents maintain mobility, boost their wellbeing, and share plenty of smiles along the way. It’s all about movement, laughter, and heart-filled fun!

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.

Requirements

18 years or older • NDIS Worker Screening Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare

We'd be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week for a one hour visit between 9am and 4pm Monday to Sunday, visits could be weekly to fortnightly depending on your availability.
