Pediatric Cardiologist

Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Cardiologist to join our hospital team, dedicated to providing exceptional cardiovascular care for infants, children, and adolescents. In this vital role, you will serve as a primary diagnostician and treatment specialist, ensuring the highest standards of medical practice in the management of congenital and acquired heart conditions. Your expertise will be instrumental in guiding complex clinical decisions, optimizing patient outcomes, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care tailored to the unique needs of our young patients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical examinations of pediatric patients to assess cardiac health and identify potential abnormalities.
  
• Accurately interpret electrocardiogram (ECG) results to diagnose arrhythmias and other electrical heart issues.
  
• Perform and analyze transthoracic, fetal, and transesophageal echocardiograms to visualize heart structure and function.
  
• Evaluate data derived from advanced imaging modalities, including cardiac MRI, CT scans, and nuclear imaging, to formulate precise treatment plans.
  
• Execute invasive and therapeutic procedures such as cardiac catheterization and angioplasty, while managing associated medical devices.
  

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience in pediatric cardiology.
  
• Proven expertise in performing detailed physical examinations specific to pediatric cardiac conditions.
  
• Advanced proficiency in the interpretation of electrocardiograms (ECGs).
  
• Demonstrated competency in conducting and interpreting transthoracic, fetal, and transesophageal echocardiograms.
  
• Strong analytical skills for assessing data from complex imaging systems, including cardiac MRI, CT, and nuclear imaging.
  
• Hands-on experience with invasive techniques, including cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, and device management.
