Head of MOE Subjects

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Head of MOE Subjects to lead and oversee the departments responsible for Arabic, Islamic Education, UAE Social Studies, and Moral Education. The role will focus on curriculum leadership, instructional quality, teacher development, cultural integration, and compliance with UAE educational and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the delivery of MOE subjects in line with UAE Ministry of Education and KHDA standards.
  
• Review curriculum implementation, teaching quality, and assessment outcomes.
  
• Analyze student performance data and implement strategies to improve academic outcomes.
  
• Mentor, coach, and evaluate teachers while supporting their professional development and CPD.
  
• Promote UAE heritage, national identity, cultural awareness, and core values throughout the learning environment.
  
• Ensure effective assessment practices across MOE subjects.
  
• Coordinate preparation for KHDA and other regulatory inspections.
  
• Maintain required curriculum documentation, records, policies, and evidence of compliance.
  
• Collaborate with school leadership, teachers, students, and parents to support academic and cultural objectives.
  

Eligibility & Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Arabic, Islamic Studies, Education, or a related field.
  
• Mandatory B.Ed. qualification.
  
• Minimum 3–5 years of leadership or middle-management experience in UAE schools.
  
• Experience within UAE schools following MOE/KHDA requirements.
  
• Valid professional teaching license approved by the relevant UAE authority.
  
• Strong understanding of curriculum planning, assessment, and instructional leadership.
  
• Excellent Arabic and English communication skills.
  
• Familiarity with UAE educational regulations and inspection frameworks.
  
• Strong leadership, mentoring, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CBSE or international school environments.
  
• Strong knowledge of UAE national identity and cultural education requirements.
  
• Experience preparing schools or departments for regulatory inspections.
