Design Manager– Electrical

**Job Title:** Design Manager – Electrical **Location:** UAE Job Summary We are seeking an experienced **Design Manager – Electrical** to lead and manage the electrical design activities for high-voltage substation and power transmission projects. The successful candidate will oversee multidisciplinary design teams, ensure compliance with client and utility requirements, and deliver high-quality engineering solutions within project schedules and budgets. ### Key Responsibilities * Lead and manage electrical design teams throughout all project phases. * Oversee the preparation, review, and approval of electrical design deliverables. * Ensure compliance with client specifications, utility standards, and applicable codes. * Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders. * Monitor project schedules, resources, and design progress to meet project milestones. * Review technical proposals, engineering studies, and vendor submissions. * Identify and mitigate design risks while ensuring quality standards are maintained. * Provide technical guidance and mentorship to design engineers and project teams. * Support business development activities, bid preparation, and project planning when required. ### Qualifications & Experience * Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. * Extensive experience in electrical design for transmission and substation projects. * Strong background in HV substations, GIS, cable systems, and switchgear. * Previous experience leading engineering or design teams. * Knowledge of UAE utility standards and approvals is preferred. * Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
