REQUIRED PROCEDURES

• Interpretation of inpatient and outpatient EEGs
  
• Management of epilepsy monitoring unit patients
  
• Provide 24-hour coverage for inpatient pediatric epilepsy service
  

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: BC/BE in Neurology (ABPN)
  
• Licenses: Active SC medical license required
  
• Experience: Residency trained in Neurology required
  

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide 24-hour coverage for inpatient pediatric epilepsy service, including day shifts and nightly call.
  
• Manage patients in the epilepsy monitoring unit (average 4-6 per week).
  
• Interpret all inpatient and outpatient EEGs (approximately 8 inpatient and 10 outpatient daily).
  
• Complete hospital modules and EPIC personalization per facility requirements.
  
• Coordinate with the epilepsy team and ensure continuity of care.
