Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP BASIS specialist to serve as a Subject Matter Expert and Technical Lead within our dynamic IT Services sector. This pivotal role demands a professional with over five years of hands-on expertise in managing extensive database environments, ensuring system stability, and driving operational excellence. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in overseeing critical infrastructure, managing complex ITIL-based incident and problem resolution workflows, and leading customer escalation procedures. This position offers the opportunity to shape process improvements and coordinate strategic projects while maintaining the highest standards of database administration across diverse platforms including SAP HANA, MAXDB, MSSQL, and MySQL, all within a robust Unix/Linux ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Act as a primary technical authority for SAP BASIS operations, providing guidance and leadership to the technical team.
  
• Oversee the administration and optimization of large-scale database environments to ensure high availability and performance.
  
• Manage end-to-end ITIL processes, including the swift resolution of incidents and the root-cause analysis of complex problems.
  
• Lead the handling of critical customer escalations, ensuring effective communication and timely resolution to maintain service levels.
  
• Drive continuous process improvement initiatives and coordinate cross-functional projects to enhance system efficiency.
  
• Execute comprehensive database administration tasks for SAP HANA, MAXDB, MSSQL, and MySQL environments.
  
• Perform advanced system administration tasks on Unix and Linux operating systems to support backend infrastructure.
  

Requirements

Requirements:

• Minimum of five years of specialized experience in Database Administration with a focus on SAP ecosystems.
  
• Proven track record as a Subject Matter Expert or Technical Lead in managing enterprise-level IT services.
  
• Deep proficiency in administering SAP HANA, MAXDB, MSSQL, and MySQL databases.
  
• Strong command over Unix/Linux system administration and configuration.
  
• Demonstrated expertise in applying ITIL frameworks for Incident and Problem Management.
  
• Experience in managing customer escalations and coordinating operational workflows.
  
• Ability to lead process improvement projects and coordinate technical initiatives effectively.
  
• Salary expectation: ₹15 LPA.
