Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef for a luxury boutique hotel in Plettenberg Bay, Western Cape.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily kitchen operations and maintain exceptional culinary standards.
  

• Create innovative menus that reflect the hotel's quality and style.
  

• Manage food costing, stock control and kitchen budgets.
  

• Lead, train and motivate the kitchen team.
  

• Ensure consistent food quality, presentation and portion control.
  

• Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and food safety.
  

• Manage kitchen operations efficiently while controlling costs.
  

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Head Chef within a luxury hotel or fine-dining establishment.
  

• Strong leadership, communication and kitchen management skills.
  

• Excellent menu planning and culinary expertise.
  

• Sound knowledge of food costing, stock control and budgeting.
  

• The ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards.
  

• A passion for quality, creativity and guest satisfaction.
  

Salary: R30,000 – R40,000 per month, depending on experience.
