Airline Ticketing Agents directly interact with customers and answer customer questions about flight timings, seat availability, fares, reservations, etc. They also handle critical operations such as data collection, data entry, payment collection, verification, etc. for airlines.

Responsibilities of Ticketing Agent:

They are communicating with customers to answer questions about tickets, pricing, or flight schedules.

Scheduling flights based on customer needs and available flights, including checking weather conditions and making changes as needed.

Collecting customer payment for airline tickets, including cash, credit card transactions, checks, or money orders.

Explaining airport rules and procedures to passengers prior to boarding flights.

Processing refunds for lost or damaged tickets or reservation errors.

Explaining applicable fees and taxes for each ticket.

Skills Required for Ticketing Agent:

Good Communication skills and basic mathematical skills.

Having excellent experience in verbal as well as email communication.

Candidates are required to demonstrate a basic knowledge of computers and good Typing skills.
