Video Editor

About the Role

1Now is a New York-based software company building the platform for car rental businesses and Turo hosts, including Carisma, our AI agent (1now.ai). We're looking for a Video Editor to create short video ads for Facebook, Instagram and Google that grab attention and bring in customers.

This role is a good fit for someone with 6 months to 2 years of experience who edits quickly, enjoys making short-form content, and is comfortable using AI tools to speed up their work.

What You'll Do

• Create short video ads for Facebook, Instagram and Google (including YouTube) campaigns.
  
• Edit short-form videos such as Reels, Shorts and product clips.
  
• Add captions, text overlays, music and simple transitions to make videos clear and engaging.
  
• Make multiple versions of an ad (different sizes, hooks and lengths) for testing.
  
• Use AI tools to speed up editing, captioning and voiceovers.
  
• Work with the marketing team to turn ideas and briefs into finished videos on time.
  

Requirements

What We're Looking For

Must-haves

• A portfolio of your video work is required, ideally including ads or short-form videos.
  
• 1 to 2 years of video editing experience.
  
• Familiarity with editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro or similar.
  
• Familiarity with AI tools for video, voice or design.
  
• A good sense of what makes a video catch attention in the first few seconds.
  

Nice-to-haves

• Experience creating ads that ran on Facebook/Meta or Google.
  
• Basic design skills in Canva or Photoshop for thumbnails and graphics.
  
• Interest in tech or the car rental space.
