SAP ABAP HANA + RAP DEVELOPER

Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP ABAP HANA + RAP Developer to join our IT Services team. In this pivotal role, you will design, develop, and optimize complex enterprise solutions leveraging the SAP HANA platform and the RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP). Your expertise will be essential in building robust data models, creating efficient service interfaces, and ensuring peak system performance to support our organization's strategic digital transformation goals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain advanced ABAP applications utilizing the RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP) for modern cloud and on-premise scenarios.
  
• Design and implement Core Data Services (CDS) views to define semantic data models and expose data efficiently.
  
• Create and configure OData services to enable seamless integration between SAP systems and external applications.
  
• Write and optimize ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP) to handle complex logic directly within the HANA database layer.
  
• Conduct thorough performance tuning and analysis to resolve bottlenecks and enhance application responsiveness.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and scalable code solutions.
  

Requirements

Requirements:

• Minimum of 6+ years of professional experience in SAP development with a strong focus on ABAP on HANA.
  
• Proven expertise in implementing the RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP) for application development.
  
• Deep proficiency in creating CDS views, including annotations, associations, and projections.
  
• Strong background in developing and consuming OData services for data exchange.
  
• Demonstrated ability to write efficient AMDP routines and perform SQLScript optimization.
  
• Comprehensive knowledge of SAP ABAP, including object-oriented programming and HANA-specific features.
  
• Track record of successfully delivering performance optimization initiatives in large-scale ERP environments.
