About the company:

Specialty chemical business servicing customers across Australia and New Zealand. Markets include textile, leather, wool, carpets and wood panel additives also offering a range of dyes, pigments and coating applications.

We are looking for a skilled Chemical Blender/Plant Operator to join the team at an industry leading chemical manufacturer based in Dandenong South.Excellent working conditions and immediate start for the right candidate.Please note that this role will start on a 3 month probation period going full-time on successful completion.

Key responsibilities:

• Weighing in, blending and filling chemicals for batch manufacturing
• Repack, decant chemicals for use in blending operations
• Load/unload trucks and shipping containers
• Ensure written work instructions for batch manufacturing are followed
• Pick orders, put away stock, assist with stock counts and warehouse activities as directed

Requirements

Key requirements:

• Must have a forklift license
• Experience in operating liquid blending equipment, powder mixers, pumps and weighing systems in a chemical manufacturing environment
• Physically fit to lift 25kg bags
• Experience in hazardous/DG chemicals
• Reliable and looking for something long term
