Primary Teacher (Year 5) - January 2027

Due to the opening of our newest school, GEMS Founders School – Nad Al Hamar, we are seeking to recruit an outstanding Year 5 Primary Teacher to join our founding team in January 2027.

GEMS Founders School – Nad Al Hamar is the newest addition to the successful GEMS Founders family, having opened its doors in August 2026. Built on the 10-year legacy of the Founders brand, the school will deliver a high-quality British education following the National Curriculum for England, initially welcoming students from FS1 to Year 8 and expanding year-on-year towards becoming a full FS1–Year 13 school.

This is a unique opportunity to join a founding team and play a key role in shaping the culture, curriculum and future success of a brand-new school community. As one of the first educators at GEMS Founders School – Nad Al Hamar, you will have the opportunity to establish strong foundations, contribute ideas, develop innovative learning experiences and help create an exceptional environment where students can thrive from the very beginning.

As part of the GEMS Founders family, the school benefits from the expertise, reputation and collaborative network of one of the UAE’s leading British curriculum school groups. GEMS Founders School – Nad Al Hamar is built around the vision to help every student “Grow, Flourish, Honour”, with a strong focus on academic achievement, inclusion, wellbeing, character development and preparing students for the future.

Our Primary School has been designed with young learners in mind, with spacious classrooms, dedicated STEAM labs, Art and Music rooms, sports facilities and outdoor spaces all forming part of the purpose-built campus. Alongside the core curriculum, pupils have opportunities to take part in theme days, educational visits, special events and leadership activities, giving them plenty of ways to learn beyond the classroom. Arabic, Islamic Studies and UAE Social Studies are also an important part of the Primary experience, helping children develop an understanding and appreciation of the culture around them.

GEMS Education is one of the world’s leading private education providers, offering teachers the opportunity to build a rewarding international career within a global network of schools. With access to leading CPD programmes, professional development opportunities and clear pathways for progression, GEMS is committed to supporting teachers at every stage of their career, from early career educators to experienced leaders.
