Job Description:

 

The Role Context:

The selected candidate will join VSSPL’s Content Team and contribute to the Learning Content and Services Strategy. The role will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative, AI-powered approaches to create highly engaging and effective learning experiences. It requires a strong understanding of AI tools for learning, instructional design principles, learning theories, and educational technology, complemented by strategic thinking and effective collaboration skills.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  

1. Learning Strategy

• Develop course-wise learning strategies aligned with the organization’s programme objectives, learner profiles, delivery environments, and intended outcomes
  
• Translate requirements into structured curricula, learning journeys, modules, lessons, and microlearning experiences
  
• Apply instructional-design frameworks; define suitable learning approaches, including video-based learning, scenario-based learning, experiential activities, simulations, assessments, projects, peer learning, and AI-enabled learner support
  
• Ensure learner-centric, outcome-oriented solutions relevant to learners from diverse educational, linguistic, socioeconomic, and cultural backgrounds
  
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate AI tools and support their selection and adoption.
  

 

2. AI-Enabled Design and Development of Learning Content   

Contribute to the Foundation’s AI-powered Content Factory by:

• Establishing effective prompt frameworks for storyboarding, voice over, On screen Texts, and media generation.
  
• Setting the relevant context, storytelling techniques, language, tone, background for the learning experience at the onset
  
• Develop concise, engaging, and outcome-focused video-based microlearning.
  
• Use appropriate video formats, including demonstrations, process explanations, scenarios, role plays, first-person narratives, and post-video learning activities.
  
• Use AI tools to localize learning products, while addressing cultural differences.
  
• Revisit video prototypes as well as emerging tools to iteratively improve the learner engagement, and production quality.
  
• Ensuring appropriate human review, validation, and sign-off at defined stages.
  
• Implement interactivity that contributes to retention and better learning outcomes
  

·       Create assessment blueprints, question banks, rubrics, scoring guides, feedback mechanisms, and quality-review standards.

• Ensure effective outputs across web, mobile, low-bandwidth, and blended-learning environments.
  

 

 

3. Learning Technology  

• Research and recommend effective teaching and learning technologies and learning interventions for specific learning products.
  

·       Leverage learning technologies that enhance engagement and  personalization, including but not limited to adaptive learning, microlearning, stackable- credentialing, gamification etc. Stay updated on the latest AI-powered learning tools, platforms, services to understand & use their potential. Specifically focus on AI based tools for bringing production efficiency and agility in design and development. Be responsible for deployment of solutions for such distinctive learning experiences.

·       Drive the development and implementation of innovative learning experiences, while managing  the balance between design-superiority and pragmatic implementation-constraints.

·       Collaborate with technology teams to configure LTI-enabled learning experiences with the appropriate content based on contextualized prompts

 

4. Stakeholder Collaboration

• Connect with target learners and trainers as applicable, for new initiatives as well as validation of offerings
  
• Conduct prototyping, learner testing to improve usability, accessibility, engagement, and effective learning.
  

 

 

5. Project Management

• Develop and manage project plans covering scope, timelines, dependencies, risks, and resource requirements.
  
• Coordinate with internal and external team members including vendors.
  
• Monitor progress against agreed deliverables and proactively address risks  
  
• Effectively use AI for updates, dashboards, presentations for stakeholders.
  
• Ensure deliveries on time, within budget, and in accordance with agreed learning and quality standards.
  

 

 

Skills and Experience

• Graduate or Post-graduate
  
• Relevant certifications in AI, instructional design, programme management, learning technologies  would be an advantage.  
  
• 5-10 years of relevant professional experience, in learning strategy with AI technology roles in EdTech firms
  
• Abreast with the emerging AI technology and tools in the field, quick to self-learn, compare & contrast, enabling decisions
  
• Well-versed with Instructional design models and theory of learning with respect to skill seekers
