An established SEN school in Enfield is looking for a calm support assistant to help autistic pupils develop independence, communication and confident participation.

What you will do

• Support structured routines, transitions and practical independence skills.
• Use visual communication and consistent agreed approaches.
• Promote choice, self-advocacy and appropriate peer interaction.
• Share concise observations with teachers and therapists.

What you will bring

• Experience supporting autistic children or young people.
• A respectful, steady approach and sound professional boundaries.
• QTS is not required for this school-support role.
