English Teacher

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that adhere to curriculum guidelines.
- Provide instruction in English literature, reading comprehension, grammar, and writing skills.
- Foster a positive learning environment to motivate students and enhance their understanding of the subject.
- Assess students' progress through assignments, tests, and examinations.
- Offer feedback and assistance to students to improve their academic performance.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress and any issues.
- Participate in school meetings, professional development, and parent-teacher conferences.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and disciplinary issues.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as an English teacher, with 3-5 years preferred.
- Strong knowledge of English language and literature.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet different learning styles and needs.
- Proficiency in using technology and educational tools in the classroom.
- Strong organizational and classroom management skills.
- Passionate about teaching and fostering positive educational environments.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field.
- Teaching certification or license.
- Master’s degree in Education or English is a plus.
- Continued professional development is encouraged.
- Fluent in English, with the ability to convey complex concepts effectively.
