Teamworx are currently hiring a Key Account Manager to own and grow a portfolio of key customer relationships, drive commercial performance, and deliver on sales, margin and distribution targets. If you're commercially sharp, relationship-driven, and thrive in a fast-paced, results-focused environment, we want to hear from you.

The Role
As Key Account Manager, you'll be the driving force behind these key account relationships, developing and executing customer business plans, trade activation calendars, and promotional strategy, while ensuring strong execution at store level. You'll work cross-functionally with Marketing, Commercial Finance and Field Sales to turn commercial plans into results, and you'll be a trusted point of contact for stakeholders across the business.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Develop and grow strategic partnerships with key customers, leading sales and negotiation across existing and new products, distribution and other commercial opportunities
  • Build and expand the key account customer base
  • Partner with Commercial Finance and Marketing to design customer-specific promotional plans that deliver value while protecting profitability
  • Execute the brand portfolio, hitting agreed sales and distribution targets within your account base
  • Own key account sales volume, margin, forecast and budget revenue targets
  • Manage the customer price file, ensuring accuracy and timely updates
  • Provide accurate, timely reporting and analysis to management
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure full availability of key product lines across all stores
  • Monitor day-to-day orders, deliveries and non-conformances, resolving issues promptly with the relevant teams
  • Design and implement effective product promotions and trade activation plans
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to secure preferred supplier status, build competitive advantage, and develop category captaincy opportunities
  • Manage costs effectively and maximise value at account level
  • Stay current on brands, products, customers, market trends and promotional activity
  • Identify opportunities for portfolio growth, distribution gains and new product listings

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years' relevant sales or Key Account Management experience
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Excellent relationship-building and teamwork ability
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • Resilient, self-motivated, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, energetic environment
  • High level of commercial awareness and business acumen
  • Enthusiastic, with a strong drive for results
  • Learning agility and curiosity, with solid verbal, numerical and analytical skills
  • A strong team player who can influence, collaborate and inspire others
  • Confident with MS Office Suite, tech-savvy, and open to leveraging social media platforms commercially
  • Full, clean, current driving licence
  • Flexibility with working location, including occasional travel away from home for business purposes
