Compensation is competitive and paid per completed job. We’re seeking reliable, detail-oriented technicians with experience in low-voltage vehicle installations who operate as independent contractors.
Scope of Work:
·Perform installation and configuration of aftermarket automotive electronics, including GPS trackers, dash cameras, remote start systems, and other fleet telematics devices.
·Deliver high-quality workmanship from start to finish to support customer satisfaction.
·Maintain accurate documentation for each completed job and ensure installations meet project specifications and fleet system requirements.
·Communicate professionally with customers at job sites.
·Utilize DRIG’s systems to access job details, upload required documentation, and manage accepted jobs.
·Follow applicable safety and compliance standards to reduce return visits and ensure proper installation quality.
·As part of DRIG’s quality assurance process, contractors are required to coordinate with DRIG’s Quality Control team at the start of each job to review project scope, specifications, and quality expectations.
Minimum Qualifications:
Flexible Schedule, Competitive Pay
Enjoy the flexibility of 1099 independent contractor work with competitive per-install compensation. Many contractors earn the equivalent of $30–$60 or more per hour, depending on job type and contractor efficiency.
Mileage Reimbursement

Reliable, Consistent Payments
Payments are issued via direct deposit on the first and third Friday of each month for completed and approved work.
Quality Assurance Support
Access to DRIG’s Quality Control (QC) team for project-related questions, system guidance, and quality review to help ensure installations meet specifications.
Travel Coordination for Out-of-Area Projects
For approved projects outside your local area, DRIG’s travel team coordinates flights, hotels, and rental vehicles.
