Specialist financial planning and wealth advisory firm focused on helping medical professionals, including doctors and dentists, achieve financial clarity and long-term financial confidence through tailored advice and planning.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Paraplanner is responsible for preparing comprehensive Statements of Advice (SOAs) covering multiple financial planning strategies, and supporting the preparation of Records of Advice (ROAs). The role requires strong technical knowledge of Australian financial planning, proficient use of research and modelling tools, and collaboration with compliance to deliver accurate, high-quality advice documents.
The ideal candidate has at least three years of experience in a similar paraplanning role, works independently, is highly organised and consistently meets deadlines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Advice Preparation: Prepare comprehensive Statements of Advice (SOAs) covering multiple strategies and use Xplan wizards to prepare SOAs and Records of Advice (ROAs).
  
• Financial Modelling: Use Xplan modelling tools, including cash flow modelling, to support financial planning recommendations.
  
• Research and Comparisons: Conduct investment and insurance research using Xtools Risk Researcher, Morningstar and product comparison tools such as Productrex.
  
• Insurance Quoting: Obtain and compare insurance premium quotations across various insurance products to support advice recommendations.
  
• Technical Application: Apply knowledge of Australian taxation, insurance and superannuation, including structures such as trusts and companies, when preparing advice documents.
  
• Compliance Liaison: Work with the compliance team to review, refine and finalise plans to the required compliance standard.
  
• Workflow Management: Organise competing priorities, manage advice preparation tasks independently and deliver work within agreed deadlines.
  

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar paraplanning role, preparing comprehensive multi-strategy SOAs.
  
• Good understanding of Australian taxation, insurance and superannuation systems, including trusts and companies.
  
• Experience with Xplan modelling, including cash flow, and Xplan wizards for SOAs and ROAs.
  
• Experience using Xtools Risk Researcher and Morningstar.
  
• Experience quoting insurance premiums for various products and using product comparison tools such as Productrex.
  
• Familiarity with AI tools such as Paradino.
  
• Strong organisational skills, independence and ability to meet deadlines.
  
• Ability to liaise with compliance and finalise advice documents to required standards.
