Lock Out - Tag Out and Pre-Commissioning Supervisor

The assignment focuses on supervising site activities related to Lock Out - Tag Out (LOTO), equipment isolation and pre-commissioning, while ensuring that work is carried out safely and in accordance with approved procedures and site requirements.
The main tasks and duties are:

Supervise and coordinate LOTO activities carried out during construction completion and pre-commissioning.

Ensure that equipment, systems and work areas are correctly isolated before intervention.

Verify the correct implementation of isolation procedures, tags, locks and related documentation.

Coordinate with construction, electrical, commissioning, engineering and subcontractor teams.

Support the preparation and execution of pre-commissioning activities on industrial equipment and systems.

Monitor work progress and identify safety issues, technical constraints and outstanding actions.

Ensure that work permits, isolation certificates and relevant site documentation are properly prepared and maintained.

Participate in site coordination meetings and provide clear reporting on progress, risks and open points.

Support the close-out of punch-list items and the preparation of systems for commissioning.

Ensure compliance with site HSE rules and applicable procedures for electrical work, work at height, confined spaces and chemical risks.

Stop or escalate activities whenever an unsafe condition or inadequate isolation is identified.

Promote clear communication and effective coordination between all parties involved in site activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in LOTO, equipment isolation, pre-commissioning or industrial site supervision.

Experience in industrial, energy, process, chemical, Oil & Gas or hydrogen projects.

Good understanding of electrical isolation procedures and safe systems of work.

Experience coordinating subcontractors and multidisciplinary site teams.

Strong knowledge of site safety requirements and permit-to-work processes.

Valid or obtainable French electrical authorisations, including H0V, B0, B2V, BR and BC, as applicable to the assignment.

Training or certification for work at height and confined-space activities.

Training related to chemical risks is required.

Strong safety awareness, organisational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work autonomously and communicate effectively with site teams.

Fluent English is mandatory; French is an advantage.

Good command of standard digital and reporting tools.
