Senior Audio Visual (AV) Installation Technician

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior AV Installation Technician for a large-scale commercial AV deployment. This is a hands-on role involving the installation of displays, projection systems, conferencing technology, speakers, structured cabling, and AV equipment racks.

Key Responsibilities

• Install commercial displays ranging from 55" to 98".
  
• Install large-format LED displays and projection systems.
  
• Install ceiling-mounted speakers and AV cameras.
  
• Install and connect conference room and video conferencing systems.
  
• Build, rack, dress, label, and organize AV equipment racks.
  
• Install and route Cat6 and speaker cabling above suspended ceilings.
  
• Maintain clean and professional cable management.
  
• Read and interpret floor plans, elevations, and installation drawings.
  
• Coordinate with project leadership and AV Engineers for testing and commissioning.
  

Required Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of commercial AV installation experience.
  
• Experience installing commercial displays, projectors, speakers, and conferencing systems.
  
• Strong structured cabling / Cat6 experience.
  
• Experience with AV rack installation and cable management.
  
• Comfortable working from ladders and personnel lifts.
  
• Ability to perform overhead and above-ceiling installations.
  
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly.
  
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
