The Staff Pad is proud to partner with a leading healthcare organization in Russellville, AL to recruit a dedicated Medical Laboratory Technologist / Medical Technologist.
As a Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Technologist, you'll perform a wide range of laboratory tests that support accurate diagnoses, treatment decisions, and exceptional patient care. Working with advanced laboratory equipment and a collaborative clinical team, you'll help ensure timely, reliable results while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
Schedule: Full-Time | Nights
What You'll Do
As a Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Technologist, you will play a vital role in supporting accurate diagnosis, treatment, and clinical research by:
- Performing laboratory testing to support accurate diagnosis and treatment
- Operating and maintaining sophisticated medical equipment
- Analyzing, verifying, and managing laboratory data
- Maintaining quality control standards and regulatory compliance
- Collaborating with physicians and healthcare teams to deliver timely, accurate results
What We Are Looking For
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Laboratory Science from an accredited institution required
- 1+ year of experience as a Medical Technologist /Medical Laboratory Technologist in a hospital laboratory setting, including Blood Bank experience
- ASCP, AMT, or equivalent certification strongly preferred
- Current BLS certification or willingness to obtain within the first week of employment
