Force Design and Strategy Support

Defence is seeking a Level 2 Force Design and Strategy Support to help a program Director with force design and strategic planning across a C4ISREW capability program. Working with capability development, delivery and sustainment leads, the role assesses, interprets and where possible influences strategic military direction and planning guidance, and defines and monitors capability dependencies between the program and other Defence projects across the services and Joint domain.

Key duties: develop and maintain the program strategy and planning products; support development of concepts of operation and employment, integrated capability directives and inputs to Defence force design documentation; provide force design and strategic analysis to inform decisions; review and coordinate capability planning documentation across key dependencies; help the Director respond to evolving strategic guidance and align capabilities with future force design priorities. May prepare Executive briefs, chair governance meetings and support Gate Reviews.
