Cet emploi est publié en EN
If you’re a hands-on Management Accountant who enjoys getting behind the numbers, understanding what’s driving margins, inventory and business performance, this is an opportunity to step into a newly created role where your work will have genuine influence.
You’ll take ownership of monthly management reporting, financial accounting, inventory and costing integrity, while working closely with management to provide accurate information they can use to make better commercial decisions.
A major part of the role will be working within SAP, understanding how transactional data flows through the ERP into the financial accounts, identifying discrepancies and getting to the root cause when something doesn’t look right. That combination of accounting and ERP capability is central to what they're looking for.
Why Make the Move?
As Management Accountant, you’ll provide management with a clear and reliable picture of how the business is performing.
You'll own the monthly accounting and reporting cycle while also getting deeper into the areas that influence product margins, inventory, purchasing costs and working capital.
Your responsibilities will include:
Where You'll Add Real Value
This is where the role goes beyond producing the monthly accounts.
You'll have responsibility for the integrity of financial, inventory and costing data within the ERP system.
If an inventory figure doesn't reconcile or a product cost doesn't look right, you'll be expected to dig into it.
You'll investigate how the transaction has flowed through the system, identify the underlying data or process problem and work through the issue until you understand what's gone wrong.
Just as importantly, you'll be able to explain what that issue means commercially in terms of margins, working capital and business performance. That's specifically what the client has identified as the profile they're looking for.
SAP Experience is Essential
This is one area where we need to be clear.
You must have hands-on SAP experience within an accounting or finance environment.
We're looking for someone who understands how transactional data moves through an ERP and ultimately impacts the financial accounts.
Experience with inventory accounting and product costing, particularly within manufacturing, wholesale or distribution, will be highly regarded.
A Newly Created Role You Can Make Your Own
This isn't a position where you're simply stepping into someone else's established routine.
You'll have an opportunity to improve finance processes, strengthen controls, improve reporting and increase confidence in the underlying ERP data.
For someone who enjoys the combination of accounting, systems, data and commercial problem-solving, there's plenty here to get your teeth into.
You'll probably describe yourself as a hands-on Management Accountant rather than someone who wants to operate purely at a high-level analytical or business-partnering level.
You'll ideally bring:
If you're an experienced Management Accountant with strong SAP, inventory and costing experience and want a position where you can genuinely influence the quality of financial information and business decision-making, we'd like to hear from you.
$140,000 - $160,000 + super + bonus, with OTE of $155,000 - $175,000.
