Investment Associate

Elevate Partners is exclusively partnering with a well-established Irish Family Office to hire an Investment Associate. Working side by side with the CEO, you’ll support investments across private and public markets while leading the finance function of the Group’s portfolio companies. For the succesful candiate, there’s a clear path to becoming CEO of one of the trading businesses, with performance-based carry.

The role:

• Support the review and monitoring of the Family Office’s private equity fund commitments
  
• Track and report on public market holdings across listed equities, bonds and other instruments
  
• Assist with evaluating and monitoring direct investments in privately owned businesses
  
• Contribute to the analysis and oversight of property investments
  
• Provide financial oversight of the Group’s operating companies
  
• Prepare accurate monthly management accounts and cashflows for each business
  
• Analyse performance against budget, forecast and prior year, highlighting key variances, risks and opportunities
  
• Produce clear management reports and KPI dashboards for the CEO and directors
  
• Turn existing system data into meaningful insight that drives commercial decisions
  

The requirements:

• ACA or ACCA qualified
  
• Experience preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports
  
• Corporate finance or transaction experience
  
• A commercial, proactive approach and the ability to manage several businesses at once
  
• An entrepreneurial mindset: you spot opportunities and act on them, not just report on them
  
• A dynamic, hands-on style, happy to roll up your sleeves in a small team where no two days are the same
  
• Self-motivated and confident working directly with the principals and CEO
  
• The ambition to grow into a senior leadership role
