Telecom RF & Network Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Telecom RF & Network Engineer with proven experience in EPC projects within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or Energy sector. Strong expertise in RF Engineering, UHF/VHF Radio Systems and IP Networking is required. ADNOC project experience is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and engineer RF communication networks for EPC projects.
  
• Perform frequency planning, link budget calculations, propagation analysis, interference studies and coverage assessments.
  
• Work with UHF/VHF radio systems, repeaters, base stations, antennas, handheld/mobile radios and dispatch systems.
  
• Support microwave integration and telecom system integration.
  
• Handle installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and maintenance of telecom systems.
  
• Support IP network infrastructure including LAN/WAN, VLAN, routing and switching.
  
• Apply basic cybersecurity practices including firewalls, access control and network segmentation.
  
• Review and develop telecom engineering deliverables, drawings and technical documentation.
  
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, consultants and multidisciplinary EPC teams throughout project execution.
  

Requirements

5+ years of Telecom Engineering experience.
EPC experience within Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or Energy projects.
Strong knowledge of RF Engineering and Radio Communication Systems.
Hands-on experience with UHF/VHF systems.
Good understanding of IP Networking and network architecture.
Basic knowledge of Cyber Security and industrial communication security.
Experience preparing/reviewing RF studies, network diagrams, datasheets, material requisitions, method statements and commissioning procedures.
ADNOC project experience is highly preferred.
Strong communication, coordination and project management skills.
