Family Practice with Obstetrics Job Near Cookeville, TN

Well-established practice seeks another associate. Responsibilities involve a full spectrum of primary care & women’s health services, along with surgical OB. Obstetric fellowship preferred, but will consider candidates without. Deliveries are a must. Share OB call 1:5 w/other Ob/Gyn physicians.

Compensation includes a generous base salary, incentives, benefits, malpractice, vacation, relocation, retirement & sign-on bonus.

Servicing over 45K residents, hospital provides 24-hour ER services, ICU, surgery, cardio/pulmonary services, medical imaging & birthing center.

Area offers an abundance of outdoor activities like boating, fishing, camping, hunting, hiking, walking trails, golfing & a number of exciting festivals. Also enjoy easy access to Nashville & Knoxville TN.

Primary care clinical management (comprehensive outpatient adult & family medicine)Women’s health clinical services (gynecologic exams, contraception, screening)Prenatal and postpartum care managementLabor and delivery management including fetal monitoring and intrapartum decision-makingSurgical obstetrics (performing operative obstetric procedures such as cesarean delivery)Neonatal stabilization and initial newborn care (e.g., neonatal resuscitation)Hospital-based inpatient care and coordination with ER, ICU, and surgical teamsOn-call management and collaborative call-sharing (participate in 1:5 OB call rotation)Use and interpretation of medical imaging to inform diagnosis and managementProcedural gynecology (minor office and operative gynecologic procedures)Acute care and emergency stabilization of obstetric/primary care patients
