Business Development Associate

What You’ll Do

• Support the growth of excitement around Santai Seaplane and help convert interest into long-term partnership opportunities
  
• Identify, research, and engage potential partners such as luxury hotels, resorts, villa collections, travel designers, DMCs, concierges, and corporate clients
  
• Manage outreach, follow-ups, and ongoing communication with prospective and existing partners
  
• Support the partnership lifecycle from initial contact through onboarding and relationship management
  
• Develop ideas for bundled travel experiences (e.g., seaplane transfers + stays + curated experiences) that partners can promote
  
• Coordinate partner activations including familiarization trips, showcase flights, events, and joint promotions
  
• Track partnership activity and organize performance data through CRM tools and reporting spreadsheets
  
• Support sales and marketing initiatives including pitch decks, partnership presentations, content ideas, and industry events or trade shows
  
• Work closely with a small, fast-moving team where initiative, ownership, and creativity are highly valued
  

Requirements

What You Bring

• 1–2 years of experience in business development, partnerships, sales, hospitality, tourism, luxury travel, or related fields (internship experience also considered)
  
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Tourism, Marketing, or a related field preferred
  
• Strong interest in luxury travel, hospitality, aviation, or experiential tourism
  
• Comfortable communicating in English and Bahasa Indonesia (written and spoken)
  
• Confident, outgoing, and relationship-oriented with strong networking and communication skills
  
• Understanding of how partnerships and commercial deals are developed and managed
  
• Organized and detail-oriented, with working knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets and basic CRM tools
  
• Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and take initiative
  
• Creative thinking when developing partnership ideas, offers, and collaborations
  
• Calm, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  
• Sense of humor and genuine curiosity about the travel industry
  
• Based in Bali or willing to relocate
