Job Description

We are seeking a mid-level Construction Associate with 3–5 years of experience to represent construction clients across all aspects of their businesses, including contract drafting and negotiation, claim preparation and presentation, mediation, litigation, and appeals.

Key Responsibilities:

Take and defend depositions.

Draft and argue dispositive motions.

Prepare for arbitrations, mediations, and trials.

Handle e-discovery matters.

Prepare and negotiate construction contracts.

Evaluate, manage, and monitor complex construction disputes and litigation matters.

Handle delay and disruption claims, payment disputes, and breach of contract claims.

Assist with risk management of potential and existing claims.

Develop litigation and resolution strategies.

Report to clients and manage local counsel and experts.

Collaborate with multiple entities and legal teams.

Required Qualifications:

3–5 years of relevant construction law experience.

Admission to the Massachusetts Bar is required.

Experience with depositions, dispositive motions, arbitration, mediation, and trial preparation.

Experience with e-discovery.

Strong written and oral communication skills.

Excellent academic record.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Experience:

Construction contract preparation and negotiation.

Construction dispute litigation.

Experience handling delay/disruption, payment, and breach of contract claims.
