Con4Mare is a leading company in the field of maritime services and part of the SeaRenergy Group. We specialize in Marine Warranty Surveying (MWS), engineering services, and project certification, offering comprehensive support for offshore wind energy projects worldwide.

We are currently seeking an experienced

Marine Warranty Surveyor (m/f/d)

This freelance position is onshore-based in UAE and involves onsite assignments of 3-14 days, with shifts of up to 12 hours per day.

We expressly welcome applications from all individuals, interested in assignments in the respective region, regardless of gender, background, or other personal characteristics.

As part of your role, you will be entrusted with the following responsibilities:

  • Witness, monitor and approve load-out operations, including lifting and Ro-Ro activities
  • Witness, monitor and approve cable load-out operations, including equipment readiness, handling sequence and relevant interface conditions
  • Perform vessel suitability surveys and verify vessel readiness for the planned marine operations
  • Review load-out procedures, lifting plans, rigging arrangements and method statements from an MWS perspective
  • Verify relevant stability, deck strength, mooring, ballasting and sea-fastening arrangements before execution
  • Witness critical marine operations and verify compliance with approved procedures, project requirements and good marine practice
  • Prepare clear MWS survey and attendance reports, document observations and follow up on outstanding actions with the client and contractors

Does your profile meet most of these requirements? We look forward to your application.

  • Several years of relevant maritime industry experience, including practical experience in Marine Warranty Surveying (MWS) or a comparable marine assurance role
  • Good English skills for safe and effective communication, documentation and reporting in an international project environment
  • Arabic language skills are an advantage where useful for project-related communication
  • Full membership of SOMWS or demonstrable progress toward obtaining full membership

Requirements & Compensation:

Below you will find the requirements and the general working conditions:

  • Working conditions:
    • Onshore, onsite assignment
    • Up to 12-hour day shifts; assignments of 3-14 days
    • The ability to reach the work location(s) reliably within the required assignment schedule is essential
  • Compensation:
    • Day rate under freelance contract: to be discussed with candidates
    • Travel days are compensated at 50% of the agreed day rate
  • Accommodation:
    • Not provided; to be arranged by the candidate
